Once you have joined as a ‘Member’ you can rock up to the pitches and play whenever you like. Click here to find out how to become a member.
If the pitches are busy when you visit, just take a seat, it won’t be long to wait.
Social Events 2023/2024
Winter Season (Mid September to Mid April)
During the dark winter months with unreliable weather conditions our social events will be held indoors at The White Horse Pub, Ditchling, every second Tuesday from 6pm-8pm.
We invite members to come along to our ‘Meet & Mingle’ socials to chat & meet new friends and perhaps organise their own social petanque games, with other members .
Final Winter 2023 ‘Meet & Mingle’ this year will be held on Tuesday April 11th 2023
Summer Season (mid April to mid September)
Weekly ‘Meet & Play’ – Starting Thursday 13th April 2023
The Pitches will be reserved every Thursday evening from 6pm – 8pm for a ‘weekly social’ where new & existing members can come along and meet & play with others.
Volunteers will be there to assist if you are new to the game, and spare boule sets will be available for you to practise with. So why not pop down and try your hand and meet others to play with! Then retire to the White Horse Pub for analysis & a drink!
Planned Events Throughout Summer 2023:
- Sunday 23rd April @ 3pm – ‘New Season Fun Event’ Pairs drawn from a hat! – come along & meet new friends!
- Sunday 4th June @ 3pm – ‘Pairs Tournament – BBQ’ – Prize for winning pair
- Saturday 1st July @ 6pm– Private event
- Saturday 29th July @ 3pm– ‘Mid- Summer Event’ Bring a guest along to play in pairs. Best two ‘Guest players’ win a set of boules.
- Saturday 9th September @ 3pm ‘Club Championship Event’ BBQ & Drinks!
